3rd Linyi intl sourcing conference sees impressive outcomes

The 3rd Linyi Trade City International Sourcing Conference for Belt and Road Cooperation in Linyi, East China's Shandong province, ended on Oct 14, with remarkable results.

With a 35,000 square meters exhibition area and a theme of "Bridging the world, sourcing global excellence", the three-day event featured one main venue and 17 special sessions. More than 2,800 vendors joined the trade extravaganza, showing products ranging from hardware and safety equipment, household building materials, cultural and sports goods, and daily necessities.

During a used car special session, four enterprises from Peru, Italy, Germany and Greece made a 3,000-car deal with the signing amount exceeding 128 million yuan ($17.96 million).

This year, Linyi has held 176 exhibitions and exchanges in 36 countries, helping 2,450 local enterprises achieve global reach. In addition, it has also launched 51 domestic events, attracting 29,000 international merchants and buyers to the city to explore cooperation opportunities.
